Epson has announced that its new range of printers will be able to support AirPrint wireless printing from devices such as the iPad, iPhone and iPod touch.
Epson has announced that AirPrint wireless printing for iPad, iPhone and iPod touch will be supported by most new models of Epson inkjet printers, beginning September 2011. AirPrint enables iPad, iPhone and iPod touch customers to wirelessly print to AirPrint-enabled printers without the need to install drivers. ‚We’re delighted that users of Epson’s AirPrint-enabled printers will now be able to print directly from their iOS devices,‚ Kelvin Reynolds, Regional Manager at Epson Southern Africa. ‚With AirPrint, no software or setup is required, so documents, photos and emails can be quickly and easily printed to any AirPrint-enabled Epson printer.‚ AirPrint will be available with Epson inkjet printers launched from spring 2011 onwards. AirPrint works with iPad, iPad 2, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4 and iPod touch (third generation and later) running using iOS 4.2 or later.
