Vodacom data users get free LTE roaming on Vodafone

Vodacom postpaid customers are now able to roam on selected LTE/4G networks when travelling, giving them faster speeds when surfing the Internet or downloading e-mails overseas.

Vodacom postpaid customers will be able to roam on selected LTE/4G networks when travelling. A first for South African consumers, the service will mean faster speeds when surfing the Internet or downloading e-mails overseas.

LTE Roaming is available to all Vodacom postpaid customers who have a LTE/4G capable device at no extra cost.

When is it available?

The service is available immediately.

Where is it available?

The service is currently available on Vodafone LTE/4G networks in the UK, Netherlands, Spain, Ireland and New Zealand. Further Vodafone partner networks from around the world will be added in the coming months.

What does it cost?

LTE Roaming is available at no additional cost. Standard roaming rates will apply.

How do I get it?

LTE Roaming is free of charge and automatically available to postpaid customers who have LTE capable devices and a 64k or 128k SIM card.
