BlackBerry and Oracle are bringing a Mobile Apps Challenge to South Africa with the goal of inspiring local developers to build mobile business solutions.
The Mobile Apps Challenge invites developers to make mobile enterprise apps that work with Oracle’s existing ERP stack on the new BlackBerry 10 platform or on the Oracle Mobile Application Development Framework.
The two companies will also be hosting joint Oracle and BlackBerry Jam days where developers will be able to experiment with their development toolsets, access the latest information, network with peers and ask questions of the various platform experts. The Jams will be held on 17 July in Cape Town and 19 July in Johannesburg.
