Samsung will unveil its new 2019 lifestyle TVs, the updated Frame and the Serif TV, at CES 2019, the world’s largest consumer electronics show, in Las Vegas next week. The 2019 Frame and Serif TV combine innovative design with QLED picture quality and smart features to provide consumers with enhanced TV functionality.
The Frame and Serif TV go beyond the traditional concept of a TV to become pieces of home décor that elevate the design of any living space. At CES 2019, the new Frame and Serif will be on display in the large lifestyle TV exhibition zone of Samsung’s booth to showcase how they seamlessly blend into daily life.
2019 Frame TV
When it is not being used to watch TV, The Frame’s Art Mode displays digital pieces of artwork, including paintings and pictures, to turn an everyday living space into an art gallery. Luminance sensors built into the TV adapts the display’s colours to fit the ambient brightness of the room, making the artwork look more natural.
The panel sports a QLED display, which darkens black and near-black images and makes colours more vibrant. A built-in Art Store provides a viewer with access to over 1000 pieces of art from galleries around the world.
Bixby, Samsung’s AI voice assistant, makes an appearance on this TV, allowing users to control the TV and its apps with voice commands.

The 2019 Serif TV
The Serif TV was designed by industrial designers, Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec, that specialise in furniture design. The first generation was only available in furniture shops.
The 2019 Serif TV also comes with QLED technology to improve picture quality. Ambient Mode provides information like news headlines and weather updates, as well as the ability to display imagery and blend into a living space when the TV is turned off.
This generation of Serif TV will be sold at consumer electronics retailers in addition to the furniture shops, given its focus on interior décor.
