The New ION Air LP Bluetooth turntable streams albums to any Bluetooth speaker or device, allowing the authenticity of vinyl to meet the convenience and ease of Bluetooth technology.
ION Audio has launched a new Bluetooth turntable, the Air LP, at the International CES expo in Las Vegas.
Air LP gives audio enthusiasts a fresh twist on the classic turntable with a smooth-operating unit that streams LPs wirelessly via Bluetooth and converts analog records into digital files.
“Vinyl is alive and well,” said Wendy Fortin, ION Product Manager. “With vinyl album sales on the rise and the increasing popularity of Bluetooth speakers, we wanted to connect the best of both worlds and create a wireless way to enjoy your records. Air LP’s innovative design puts vinyl records on an entirely new wavelength: our customers are going to love this modern update to the traditional turntable.
Whether it is the ease of listening to a legacy music collection, a unique album in a music library, or a new record release, Air LP revolutionizes the way users experience vinyl. With integrated Bluetooth technology, Air LP eliminates messy and cumbersome connection wires and allows them to enjoy vinyl records through any Bluetooth speakers.
Doubling as a digital audio converter, Air LP easily converts vinyl albums into digital files on computer. Air LP connects to a Mac or PC via an included USB cable. ION’s exclusive EZ Vinyl/Tape Converter software guides users with step-by-step instructions and automatically separates tracks. Through Air LP’s 1/8-inch auxiliary input, audio enthusiasts can also connect and convert from other sources like a CD or cassette player.
Supporting all 33 1/3, 45, and 78 RPM records, Air LP is also equipped with RCA outputs to connect the turntable to a stereo system.
