BlackBerry reveals 4G PlayBook

The Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas saw its first “blockbuster”” product release this morning with the unveiling of a 4G version of Research In Motion’s BlackBerry PlayBook tablet computer. It was launched in conjunction with Sprint, which will enable connectivity to its high-speed 4G network. The BlackBerry 4G PlayBook will be the first PlayBook to include wide area wireless connectivity, and will give customers download speeds up to 10 times faster than 3G. However, it will only go on sale in the second quarter of this year.
