Batman comes alive on iPhone

DC Entertainment and Madefire have released the final instalment of the Batman: Arkham Origins – A DC Multiverse Graphic Novel. All eight instalments of the novel, with multiple endings are available from the Apple App Store.

Batman: Arkham Origins – A DC Multiverse Graphic Novel immerses readers in the world of Batman through good artwork and sound effects integrated with a full soundtrack. It is the first DC Multiverse title featuring a multi-path reading experience. The story offers several possible outcomes, with multiple story branches – some lead to Batman’s success, while other choices have deadly consequences. Readers who purchase the series are rewarded with two skins for the Batman: Arkham Origins game: the exclusive New 52 Metallic Batman and Injustice Batman.

“It’s been a thrill to experience fans’ reactions to this interactive story these past months, and now we’re excited to offer the complete Batman: Arkham Origins prequel story on iOS devices,” stated Hank Kanalz, SVP of Vertigo and Integrated Publishing, DC Entertainment.

“We built Madefire Motion Books to pioneer the possibilities of reading on screen,” said Ben Wolstenholme, Co-founder and CEO of Madefire. “Expanding to the iPhone is very exciting – it sets the bar for reading on a small screen and opens this epic story up to a whole new audience.

This Batman story, coupled with DC Entertainment’s blockbuster digital first title Injustice: Gods Among Us, can also be read as Motion Books on the Madefire Motion Books App.

Madefire Motion Books is a free comic reader app that delivers an innovative reading experience for iOS devices. It has been 5-star rated since launch and was awarded an App Store’s “Best of 2012”.
