The much-awaited new iPad Air, which is 20% thinner than the fourth generation version, will be available in South Africa from the end of next week.
Core Group has announced that the iPad Air will be available in South Africa next week.
Featuring a 9.7-inch Retina display in a new thinner and lighter design, the iPad Air is precision-engineered to weigh just less than 500 grams: 20 percent thinner and 28 percent lighter than the fourth generation iPad. iPad Air will be available from Apple Premium Resellers (iStore and Digicape), Apple Authorised Retailers and cellular partners for a starting price of R5999.

iPad Air Wi-Fi models will be available in South Africa in silver or space grey for a recommended retail price* of R5999 for the 16GB model, R7399 for the 32GB model, R8699 for the 64GB model and R9999 for the 128GB model. iPad Air with Wi-Fi + Cellular will be available in silver and space grey for the Recommended Retail Price of R7799 for the 16GB model, R8999 for the 32GB model, R9999 for the 64GB model and R11 499 for the 128GB model.
When customers purchase an iPad Air, they also qualify for free productivity and creativity apps. Apple have made iWork (Keynote, Pages and Numbers) and iLife (Garageband, iPhoto and iMove) free with the purchase of any new iPad.
