Tuluntulu now streams 40 TV channels on mobile

Tuluntulu has added an education, talent and religious channel to its lineup of shows which are viewable on a smartphone, offering users up to 40 TV and 28 radio channels.

Tuluntulu has added an education, talent and religious channel to its lineup, among other new offerings. Its content now includes 40 TV channels and 28 radio stations – and the app is claimed to use less data than any other video service.

As the cost of smartphones and mobile data decreases and free Wi-Fi becomes more commonplace, watching video content on mobile devices is finally becoming more affordable. Combine this with Tuluntulu’s free African content offering and unique data management technology, and it is set to become a major player in Africa’s mobile video arena.

The free Tuluntulu app provides access to relevant African content, as well as unique technology to ensure that mobile data consumption when watching video is low – as little as 50 MB per hour for video. 10 hours of TV will use as little 500MB of data. On a monthly mobile data package, this will cost the end user less than R1,50 per hour of TV, while being 100% free on Wi-Fi.

The TV channels include the following genres: Entertainment, News, Education, Documentaries, Movies, Series, Sport, eSports, Fashion, Lifestyle, Children, Comedy, Music, Shopping, Public information, Religion.  Tuluntulu also TV Channels and radio stations broadcasting in English, French, German, Hausa, Portuguese, and Kiswahili.
