Less than 24 hours after going on sale today, the PlayStation 4 gaming console has sold out in South Africa. However, sales figures have not been revealed.
Ster Kinekor Entertainment today announced that PlayStation 4 (PS4) has officially sold out in South Africa in less than 24 hours making it the fastest selling console in Ster Kinekor Entertainment history, according to its most recent sales figures.
However, no sales figures have been revealed.
The latest addition to the PlayStation hardware portfolio which has been “built for gamers and inspired by developers”” was officially introduced in South Africa on Tuesday night, 10th December before going on sale at midnight last night. Ster Kinekor Entertainment advised that the PS4 beat the all records previously held by Sony’s PlayStation, PS2, PS3, PSP and PSVita.
