Digital maps – transforming horizons

A decade ago, the first locally produced digital maps in South Africa displayed a flat two-dimensional graphic representation of the landscape. However, geospatial technology has worked its way onto these maps, transforming them from flat two-dimensional graphics into content rich digital maps. The result is that these maps can now be used by companies to aid them in their day to day business tasks.
