Facebook is hosting a Facebook for Developers workshop for South African software engineers, product managers and partners in Johannesburg on 24 August to help them build better applications and monetise them more effectively.

The session will offer practical advice and detailed information about how developers can take advantage of the latest features of the Facebook Platform, Bots on Messenger and Open Source development tools.

The Facebook Product Partnerships, and Engineering teams will provide attendees with hands-on instruction via code-labs, tech-talks, and updates on the latest Facebook Platform products, all designed to help developers build and grow a successful business.

The event will be split into three workshop streams including:

·         Reaching your audience with Bots on Messenger

·         Building fast and reliable login flows with Account Kit

·         Making your apps globally accessible with React Native
